| Spirit Houses are wall hangings made from hand cast, handmade paper base, decorated with polymer clay and mixed media. They are based on the Alaskan/Russian tradition of building houses to hold the spirit of loved ones. While most are custom pieces, based on family history, some are an expanded definition of Spirit to include a particular philosophy or concept. As a custom piece, they make wonderful wedding, anniversary or birthday heirloom gifts. |
