These brooches follow the double use style I began with the domed pieces. Each one has a backing that allows
it to be worn as a brooch, or using the bail, to hang it from a necklace.
I combine many different ancient cultural designs and my own contemporary designs to form the patterns, add color and using a print process, transfer my design to the polymer clay. This is NOT a decal process. Only the design itself transfers, becoming similar in feel to the silk screened pieces. Each piece, especially in this process, is slightly different due to minor hue variations. They are original pieces, done as Limited Editions of 50. The back of each piece is signed and numbered. |

Brooch / Necklace The design is held within a sterling silver frame that has been coated a second time with rhodium. It is one step below platinum, and will not tarnish and has a wonderful shine. The backing is polymer clay to which the brooch/necklace bail is attached. An 18" sterling omega chain is included with each brooch so you have the option on how you wish to wear it. |
